Overview:

  • Description: In this technical debate, we delve into the complex ethical landscape of AI. From algorithmic bias to data privacy, participants will discuss the moral implications of AI development, deployment, and its societal impact. Join us for an exploration of the ethical dilemmas shaping the future of AI and its integration into our lives

Guidelines:

  • Participants are required to prepare for both sides of the Motion for the listed topic(s) and shall be assigned to either side based on the total number of participants, on a random basis.
  • Selection : for the event is on a first-come, first-serve basis and so we urge all interested participants to fill the form by the earliest.
  • Moderation: A moderator will oversee the debate to ensure adherence to rules and time limits.
  • Judging Panel: A panel of judges will evaluate the debate based on the predefined criteria.

  • First Negative Constructive (1N/1NR) – 4 minutes.

  • Preparation time Affirmative – up to 2 minutes

  • First Affirmative Rebuttal (1AR) – 3 minutes

  • Preparation time Negative – up to 4 minutes

  • Negative Rebuttal (2NR) – 3 minutes

  • Preparation time Affirmative – up to 2 minutes
