Overview

1. In this competition, participants will face three rounds of timed coding challenges. Armed with documentation for an alien programming language, they must unravel increasingly complex problems by crafting solutions in the foreign code. A test of coding adaptability and problem-solving under pressure awaits.

Rules and Regulations:

Team Composition

1. Teams can consist of 2 or 3 members.
2. Teams must be formed before the event begins, and no changes are allowed once the event starts.

Round Structure

3. The competition will have three rounds, each with different difficulty levels.
4. In each round, participants will be presented with coding challenges related to an undisclosed programming language.
5. The programming language for each round will be revealed at the start of that round.
6. Questions in each round will be designed to test participants' coding skills, problem-solving abilities and adaptability.

Documentation

7. At the beginning of each round, participants will receive documentation and guidelines for the specific programming language they are required to use in that round.
8. Participants must adhere to the provided documentation while coding.

Time-Bound Rounds

9. All rounds are time-bound, with a specified time limit for completing the coding challenges. - Participants must submit their solutions within the allocated time frame.
10. Any code submitted after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.

Scoring Tiebreaker

11. Participants will earn points based on the correctness and efficiency of their code.
12. In case of a tie in scores, the team that submitted their solution in the shortest time will be declared the winner for that round.

Fair Play and Plagiarism

13. Plagiarism and any form of cheating are strictly prohibited.
14. Participants must submit their own original code and solutions.
15. The organisers may use plagiarism detection tools to verify the authenticity of the submissions.
16. Violating any of the event rules or regulations may result in disqualification of the team.
